How to Kill Bed Bugs with a Steam Cleaner?

Hotels, dormitories, and other facilities where bed bugs may be found have relied on exterminators for the removal of bed bugs for some time. Regular checking and removal of these pests has become a largely expensive endeavor. However, it is now possible for hotel and college maintenance workers to eradicated bud bugs on their own with the industry’s best steam cleaners.

Instructions

1

A steam cleaner is one of the preferred methods of bed bugs removal. High temperatures emitted from the steam cleaner create the ideal conditions to kill bed bugs. However, not all steam cleaners are capable of this feet.

2

Choose the Best Machine for Bed Bugs Removal

First, you must look for a steam cleaner boasting high steam temperatures. The higher the temperatures emitted from the steam wand, the more effective the system will be at bed bugs removal. High temperatures up to 386°F are ideal. Adjustable pressure levels is also necessary, as it is important to prevent any risk of scattering the bugs, eggs, or waste. For added efficiency, a machine with anti-bacterial technology is suggested.

Vacuum extraction is an essential feature as it enables operators to simultaneously extract bugs, eggs, and their waste while the bugs are dying off. This greatly enhances the speed and ease of the bed bugs removal process, while ensuring no bugs or eggs are left behind. HEPA filtration, a feature found in the top steam vacuum cleaners, will prove to be very beneficial as it traps eggs and bed bugs that otherwise would not have been caught.

Lastly, the ability to clean continuously is paramount. Steam must be applied to the surface on which the bed bugs and eggs appear continuously so that they are killed off effectively. Low-cost steam cleaners require constant shutting down of the machine and refilling of the boiler. This process would not only increase the time it takes to remove bed bugs, it would also reduce the efficiency of the task at hand. Therefore, always look for continuously refilling steam cleaners. These machines boast an extra water chamber where water can be added while the machine is in operation. Water is drawn from the water chamber into the boiler tank as needed without reducing the pressure or temperature within the boiler.

3

The Bed Bugs Removal Process

Before using a steam cleaner, all clothing and bed linens that may have come in contact with the bed bugs and/or eggs should be washed and stored away from the room where they had come in contact with the pests.

When applying steam, place the nozzle as close to the mattress or other surface upon which the bed bugs appear. This will ensure the steam is directly emitted onto the bed bugs. Move the nozzle slowly over the surfaces to kill and extract the bed bugs, eggs, and waste completely.

For more details on the bed bugs removal process, contact a reputable steam cleaners supplier. Make sure to look for the features discussed above.

Bed Mattresses

Beds are the primary things to decorate your bed room. Then come bed mattresses. Among three types of bed frames namely single, double and king size bed frame. Double bed frames are most suitable for middle class people with a reasonable income. Small double beds have become one of the must have beds by the teens of today. Not happy with the standard single bed many people are desperate to have a little more space and that\'s where the small double bed comes in. Kids love these beds very much. As for bed mattress there are no standard mattress depths. Some mattresses are 9-10 inches deep, but many pillow top mattresses measure 15-16 inches in depth, or even more.

Bed Linen

When buying bed linen should I choose fitted sheets or flat sheets? A very popular question and the answer is not always the same as there are a lot of deciding factors associated with this question and a blanket answer is not always the best advice. Fitted sheets are the most common way of covering your mattress as they have mitered corners that fit neatly over and down the mattress and are finished off with fully elastic sides or corners to ensure a snug fit which look like a fitted glove over the bed. The elastic corners are preferred aesthetically as they allow the user to tuck them under the mattress making a neat appearance where the full elasticated version can look bunched up depending on the fabric used to weave the bed linen.

Cot mattresses

If you look online for cot bedding, you will discover that there are a lot of different options. Stores that cater to new parents with supplies for infants usually will have what you are looking for, and often at very reasonable prices. To find just the right cot bedding for your baby, there are some things to consider during the shopping process. Generally speaking, cot bedding tends to be quite soft. For infants, this could pose some danger. For babies who sleep on their tummies, the risk is even greater. Making sure that the bedding of a baby is comfortable, but not too soft, is of critical importance.
