I was disappointed with “Imperial Bedrooms”. It was depressing as hell, I didn’t get it at all and I’m an Bret Easton Ellis fan who read almost all of his novels. The book seemed like a “filler song” or something.

@nothingness36 I actually enjoyed Lunar Park. The sex, violence and schizoid shit was good in that novel. This one I had to give up on. It wasn’t even cos’ I was disgusted by it (I forced myself to read Crash by J.G. Ballard). It was so tedious. Clay becomes a total has-been. In Lunar Park though the character of Bret Easton Ellis is still cool in spite of being middle-aged. The film for Lunar Park is already in pre-production too. Check it out on IMDB!
